A domain name that carries a higher than standard predicted value and domain registration fee.
Premium domain name
3.5 million art related words and word combinations with a total value of 750 million USD and an average price of $200 per premium name. Premium names are of value for artistic community and therefore can be uniquely priced. The retail price for premium names ranges from $70 – 15000. Examples of premium domain names: modern.art, fine.art, gallery.art, beauty.art.
Privacy protection
Private domain registration option hides WHOIS information, e.g. owner’s name, address, phone number, thus protecting sensitive data.
Registrant
An Applicant that has submitted a Registration Request that has been paid for in full and accepted by the Registry. A Registrant is the holder of a registered name in the Top-Level Domain Registry.
Registry
The entity that is operating a top-level domain registry (such as .ART).
Reserved domain name
Domain Names that the Registry has reserved from Registration and may, at its sole discretion, later release for Registration or Allocation.
Standard domain name
Any word or word combination apart from 3.5 mln premium domain names. Example of a standard domain name: johnsmith.art.
TLD
A Top-Level Domain Registry (e.g .ART).
